News databases: subscribing, alerts, newsletters - for Hofstra Law affiliates, only

Registering for law.com

1. Go to law.com alert registration
2. Make sure to use your Hofstra.edu email address to register.
3. Use the menu to access specific publications such as New York Law Journal.

Managing law.com newsletters and search alerts 

Newsletters

1. Go to law.com and sign in (in upper right).  Use this link for newsletter and alert management only.
2. Your login credentials will be your email address and a password.  Use the “Forgot password” link if you do not know your password.
3. Go to My Account and choose Newsletters.

4. In the Newsletters tab, you can review Current Subscriptions and add additional Newsletters. Scroll or use the dropdown menu to see available Newsletters, such as New York Law Journal  and National Law Journal .  Check the boxes for Newsletters you would like to receive.  Uncheck boxes for those you wish to stop.

Alerts

To set up an alert to receive articles using your own search terms, use the Alerts tab.
